Smiling and swinging?

Normally, Xander is not a big fan of swings. But when we went to the park today, daddy got to come with. He will be leaving tomorrow for Canada and wanted to spend as much time as he could with his little boy. Our friend Lew wanted to swing, so Chris said he would push him. Of course Xander wanted to swing, too. It was the first time he really seemed to enjoy himself.

Visiting with great grandpa

We spent the afternoon in Claremont at great-grandpa Ernie's farm. He made a yummy lunch for us and then Xander got to play with tractors - both the toy and the real! Chris took him for rides on them all. Great grandpa even promised to give Xander a ride on the combines when the time comes. He slept so good on the ride home!
