Our baby boy is 5! We had a very busy day with lots of presents, fun at the Science Museum with Grandpa Jimmy and then dinner at Buca with Grandma Linda. Once again, Xander requested the kitchen booth at Buca, which is always fun and entertaining. This time, an entire stack of dishes and bowls came crashing down! But we don't go there expecting it to be quiet and relaxing. And when you are in the kitchen, there is little to worry about with the boys' noise levels as well. It was a great day and I hope Xander had all the fun he deserves!

Waking up and opening presents

His new Moon In My Room....awesome! It looks very much like the moon in the sky and you can set it for many different phases of the moon. It automatically shuts off after 30 minutes and looks very cool on their wall at night.

After a special breakfast and presents (including a telescope!) we headed to the Science Museum for some nerdy fun! Grandpa Jimmy was able to leave work and join us, the highlight of the trip for Xander.

The Pichner Boys!

Checking out some fossils under the magnifying glass

The boys being goofy at the table

Blowing out the candles

Xander's space cake. We forgot to get a photo before starting to cut (silly us!) but it still looks cool.

Xander is a serious cake eater. He concentrates so hard!

Nathan is a passionate eater, closing his eyes tight and savoring every bite!
