Playing with tractors

Great grandpa arranged for Chris and Xander to go out on the combine again this year. Of course they had a great time and Xander keeps talking about it.

Really goofy boys!

Boo Bash

We took the boys to Grand Avenue in St. Paul for Boo Bash. Trick or treating down the avenue with all the other little ones. Great fun, until the massive tantrum!
Oh no, there is a jaguar stalking that giraffe!

One lazy jaguar that wanted to be pushed, not walk

Halloween Party

We went to a playgroup Halloween party at Michelle and Calvin's house in Farmington. I stayed inside with Nate a lot and so didn't get many photos, but we had a lot of fun. The husbands were all with as well and there was good food, tractor ride and playing with chickens. It was the best party! I hope to have more photos to post soon.
cute photo, huh?

Prunes

I had started feeding Nathan some solid foods - he had tried bananas, pears, apple sauce and a little oatmeal. So far he wasn't over excited about it but would eat a teaspoon or so. Unfortunately, his system didn't seem to like the food and he got a bit...backed up. After a few days, I offered him some prunes in order to get things moving.
looks disgusting, but he seemed to like them

Xander can't decide on a pumpkin and must touch ALL of them

That is one big pumpkin and yet Nate seems unimpressed

Teething and still no tooth!

He has been drooling and gnawing since 4 months old, and it still hasn't poked through yet. I can even feel the top of the teeth under there. Not that he is a crabby baby about it or anything. He is a still so happy and sweet!

Chew!
Chew some more!

Looking for something else to chew on

Open House at Xander's preschool

Xander's preschool had an open house so the kids could show off their classroom and all that they do to their family. He was just excited to spend a little extra time doing all the things he likes to do in class and he barely knew we were there!

Last fishing trip of the season

It was a beautiful day so the boys headed out on the boat one last time. Xander LOVES spending time on grandpa's boat!

Final numbers (drum roll please!)...... 19 lbs. 2 oz. and 28 1/4 inches long.
I will add Xander's number on for comparison as soon as I can track down his baby book. :)

Nate's new high chair

After much hullabaloo, we finally got Nate's new high chair. It was not the one we had ordered, but since that one came out of the box broken and unusable, and it was a discontinued style, we were happy to settle for the one the company sent us to replace it. It is bright and fun and totally adjustable. Now all we have to do is start giving the kid some food!
For now, content to just hang out at the table and practice
Xander give it two thumbs up!

A little lotion goes a long way

Apparently he thought his skin was a little dry and he needed to get into the lotion. He had a feeling I wasn't going to be too happy with him. The only thing I could do when I saw him was go to grab the camera.
lotion on the floor...
all over his hands and face
