Saturday and Sunday were both really warm days, so we spent some time staying cool in the water. Saturday evening we went to Elm Creek's swimming pond for the first time this year. Xander is very particular as to what he does in the water. He is not interested in floaties at all. He just wanted to walk from one end of the "pool" to the other, but on his tippy-toes and up to his chin, so he was feeling brave. But he is so serious about it! Sunday, Grandma Linda came over to hang out in the pool with us. We dined on Boca burgers and fresh fruit. It was a good day and Xander was trying out some new tricks in the pool. I am putting him in every chance that I get. It is supposed to be a scorcher this weekend, so I am sure he will get more practice.
