After Chris got home from work we headed to the Lake Hiawatha Neighborhood festival. Xander got to see his friends again and play in the park. There was a magician/juggler, and we sat in the grass and watched his show. Lily warmed up to Chris immediately and went to sit on his lap. Of course Xander couldn't pass up an invitation to go sit on Ann's lap either (and eat all her food). Then Xander took advantage of the situation and climbed on his daddy's lap as well. At first I thought he might be jealous, but then I realized that he was curious about Lily and wanted to get close to her. Before we knew it, he was patting her on the back and putting his arm around her. He seemed fascinated to be sitting that close to her! It was hilarious! Lily didn't seem too impressed, but she also didn't seem bothered enough to move from her spot. It made for some adorable pictures!
